Get to Know Lisa Schwartz
Lisa Schwartz founded Schwartz Writing & Communications in 2011 to deliver on-target, creative content marketing strategies and marketing writing to organizations looking to stand out and share their stories.
As a content marketer, communications professional, former journalist, and passionate writer and editor, Lisa teams up with businesses, marketing teams, and organizations to connect their brands with people. She has spent over 20 years developing and delivering creative and effective content marketing and communications strategies for hospitals, physician practices, non-profits, education companies, and businesses large and small.
Lisa previously served in various marketing and communications roles for such local and national organizations as Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), Chesapeake Urology/United Urology Group, Winthrop-University Hospital (now NYU Langone Hospital), and The March of Dimes of Greater New York. Lisa began her writing career as a reporter for a city newspaper in Oswego, NY before joining a boutique public relations firm in New York, NY. Her writing has been published in The Baltimore Sun, The Daily Record, Chesapeake Physician magazine, and Baltimore’s Child. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the State University of New York at Oswego.
Lisa has been described as “having a way with words” and has been fortunate to utilize her skills to tell the stories of incredible people, pen speeches that have touched the hearts of communities, and connect individuals with the information they need and want. When she’s not writing, Lisa spends her free time with her two children, her husband, and crazy dogs in Maryland.
